The Gibraltar Fire and Rescue Service held a gala dinner at Grand Battery House on Friday 20th November 2015.
The event held commemorated the start of a fire service in Gibraltar on the 20th November 1865. The Chief Minister, Mr Fabian Picardo, and Minister for the Fire and Rescue Service (at that time), Mr Gilbert Licudi attended the important milestone of 150 years in 2015, aswell as past and present fire service members.
The Moorish Castle (Tower Of Homage) was lit up in red and displayed the Gibraltar Fire and Rescue Service emblem to mark the historical landmark in the GFRS history.
